The growing season for tomatoes is nearly over in the East Coast and we're wrapping up our harvest within the next few weeks. This year has produced a bumper crop of beefsteak tomatoes that we've supplied to local farmer's markets for weekend sales.

WHAT'S NEW ?

The TomatoKit v1.0 has been released to the national grower's market and plans for European sales are expected to begin in 2011 with a traditional sales push through local resellers.

Accessories for the TomatoKit include an overhead latticework trellis that can support up to 500lbs of weight which is made entirely of recycled wood.

WHAT WE DO ?

  • Teach gardeners earth-friendly techniques and practices to ensure that your tomatoes are the best tomatoes they can be.
  • Produce sustainable equipment that is built from recycled materials and runs clean on solar energy instead of fuels that can pollute.
  • Bring together farmers and consumers to bypass the middlemen for bulk purchasing of tomatoes from cooperatives.
  • Provide an online community where gardeners and growers can share ideas, trade seeds, and talk about their crops.
  • Supply organic seeds for over 80 varieties of tomatoes from Beefsteak to Cherry Tomatoes.
